Has PP "show your bike" made you spend....
Discussion
After reading the "has PH influenced your car purchase" thread, I thought I'd ask the question in here.
Only because after seeing some of the beautiful machines some of you guys own and looking at my old retro-ride I went out and spent the most I've spent on 1 bike. In fact its probably equal to the total amount of all my previous bikes combined!
Turns up Wednesday
Anyone else drooled, dreamed and splashed the cash?

Luckily (for some unfathomable reason) i've decided to never ride non-SS bikes nor bikes with suspesnsion which means the most I can spend is relatively low
Build your own SS.
Then you can easily hit 4 figures.
CRC is like catnip for MAMILs.
Also, forgot to mention, no carbon, no titanium, no alu. Steel is good enough for me

£200 VERY cheap frameset.
£200 wheels.
£200 all the other crap.
Which is why OTP is still very attractive!

I remember seeing On One Inbred 29er frames going for just over £100 a while back in a sale, I think they retail about £160. And they're pretty decent frames.

Oh mine was OTP (Haro Mary SS) which came in at just under £400 then upgraded the forks (£60), seatpost (£130) and levers (£15)
