Customising a kids go-kart.

Odd question this perhaps, but any thoughts regarding how I might easily customise one of these:



Why? Because our eldest boy has one and now we have bought one for the younger. Of course they need to be the same but at the same time different. They are only available in red in that exact model, so I am planning on customising it a bit.

I was thinking of getting some decals, but I have no idea where I might find some.

We might also add a number plate or something.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

doesn't look particularly interchangeable with anything, how about some 20" wheels on the back to give it some rake, a front and rear spoilers from mdf & a cut down steering wheel so it looks more F1.

Take it apart and have the frame blasted and powder coated.

It really needs to be something easy, taking the thing apart and powder coating it is too involved.

How about zip tying some big race numbers onto the front - the type used in moto-cross etc?

Find someone with a vinyl cutter so you can get customised graphics. Also some thin polypropylene sheet can be used to make any 'bodywork' and can be cable tied on. Have personalised s lot of my daughters things so they don't get confused for other kids. Like drinks bottles and her micro scooter.
