I have no interests in pedal bikes but that was interesting

Are those D locks no good then?

Every lock can be broken, the Abus granit 54's are the better ones... I do think carrying two locks of different type is probably the safest but pretty impractical, especially as they gold rated ones are £70+ and weigh as much.

Sure you can leave them at work but think the cheapest lock has to be bike insurance...

I like the suggestion, 'spend 20% of the value of your bike on locks' I don't think I could manage that even with two locks.
I use a ground anchor and mahoosive chain in my shed at home, but use a set of the Master lock street cuffs when I am out ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Master-Cuff-Street-Link/dp... )
Does anyone else have any locks they swear by?
