AFTER SOME DECENT WARM GLOVES

I'm looking for some decent warm gloves for the winter months, nothing bulky, just nice & warm.

Its the wind chill that keeps your hands cold so I have the following two pairs.......


The warmest gloves are these. Almost too warm until it hits -5 or colder!

I have a pair of the allweather - found them to be spot on and yet to find a day when they've let my fingers get cold!

I've tried so many over the years and ALL have been found wanting until I bought a set of the Assos winter glove system half price from Ribble last year. Superb. Been out with them all last winter and were great. Been loving the lobster glove this week with it being almost -9 real feel at 7am.

I have had some Sealskinz before and they weren't great. Good luck with them

We see quite a few of the sealskinz coming back as the liner seperates from the outer, I'd not recommend.

Come with a removable waterproof liner so they dry out very quickly, and nice and toasty to boot!

Loads off folk hate sealskins.

I have had no problems whatsoever in two years with mine.

The trick is to pinch the ends of the gloves whilst you pull your fingers out

Yes,but when there wet through it's a different matter.

I know i'm coming in at the end of this post but someone recently ask the same on our cycling club's forum and for me I use my old (hardly used though) windsurf gloves.

They are perfect and over the past week or two have kept my mits seriously warm (read: not cold).

Yeah, avoid the Ultra Grip Sealskinz - not warm enough. I am using mine with the extra merino inners, and a pair of thinsulate over the top, and my fingers still feel like they are dropping off after half an hour. Really disappointed in them.

The new Fox Antifreeze glove comes quite highly recommended. I haven't bought any myself but they're on my to-buy list.
