What kind of mileage are you roadies doing per week?
Discussion
With non-icy roads at this time of year I'm doing 120-140/week using an old rigid MTB rather than a road bike, if it's icy I'll do an hour on the turbo.
As the weather improves (say 8-10C temperatures) that will increase to 150-180 using a road bike, warmer weather and it's normally 200-250 depending on sunshine and the job list from SWMBO.....
Edit - as for how often, I aim to either get out on the road or a turbo session 6 or 7 days a week. Sounds a lot but I'll mix in recovery sessions and normally have 2-3 completely idle days every month.

Around 300kms per week, sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less. It's been a slow start this week, as I was only really back on the bike from yesterday, but I should still manage 250km this week. Aiming for 13500km on the bike this year, and to do a super-randonneur series.

Good effort. I won't be doing that distance in my car, let alone my bicycle !I covered about 2000 miles last year.

Coming back from injury and have done 2x50 mile (4hr) towpath rides in last 3 days. I hope to build up to 1x50 and 2x70 per week ( or road equivalent) in the next couple of months.
It could go pear shaped again though.......
I share your pain, Matt. Weather/Broken Body/Advancing Age have all taken their toll since October. Would like to get back to about 110/120 mile per week, Monday to Thursday, as Friday is travel home day, and the long-haired General always has orders waiting for me, when I would much rather spend great chunks of the weekends in the saddle. It could go pear shaped again though.......
