Without being to depressing, the numbers will probably depend on the cost of any technical rules implemented for next season.

Rick dont have a car, Andy R will probably not make the start of the season,
all the others will probably be there,
the carbon brake rule is probably be put over to new builds from 2012, thats a probably, the blowers should stay at 20% and the turbos at 91mm,

The main event at the monent looks like it will be fairly depleted of swedish teams from what they said to me over the weekend but things change....

That's good news about the brakes, turbo's and overdrive.

Tierp will always make a difference to how many Swedish racers travel. Having two rounds at the Pod next year should be good with 11 UK Pro Mods.

I thought Rick had the 70.5 Camaro that was shown on Eurodragster?

If the swedish teams want to challenge for the championship they would be handicapping themselves by not attending the first round surely. If they are not bothered then I could understand them picking and choosing.

i guess its down to whats done with the track
i know lindahls, urban Johansson/Linda Thun, wont be here Lindbergs are thinking about it, Mats isnt positive, I wouldnt bet on Freddie either, but i guess if theres a track here as i said things may change
if very few come then they are not actuly hurting themselves at all how many brits will do the full tour next year...probably none

If there is expectation from sponsors to be FIA champion they will attend. The weather can play havoc with the championship so you have to attend to give yourself the best chance. Micke G won this years championship without winning an event I think.

dont think theres many with sponsors who could dictate wether they go or not, im sure some will and some definatly wont lindahl twins, urban/linda are definatly wonts, so thats two of the six that were at the euro finals wont be here definatly

But there are more home grown cars that look possible so I don't think it will make a huge difference to the racing.

The FIA rounds at the Pod are more all round "events" for spectators, a good weekend away with some good racing.

If we have a field of say 18 rather than 24 cars I don't think it will hit the attendance at all or make the event any less enjoyable really.

yes it will still be ok and Bruno Bader will come so anyone else thinking of a championship will probably have to come, id guess thats Micke and Mats the dutch guys will still come im sure there will be a full field it will just lack some quality but the spectators wont care

I think its also important to remember that Tierp has not really been rained on yet.

Hopefully that will continue but you never know what's gonna happen next year.

having walked on that track i suspect rain wouldnt be an issue
the track has the most uniform coating of rubber iv ever seen,
but who knows
and also at this stage of the season who realy cares wink
