Quick question ,do i need track day cover on my policy to Pod and Shakey? Do they want to see insurance documents showing track day cover cheers

No. You wouldn't be covered anyway. All of the track day policies I've seen explicitly state they don't cover events where you're racing or where you are timed, which pretty much rules out drag strips.

Im not to bothered about trackdays but would like to meet up with some of the TVR owners at Pod etc ..The reason i ask the question is if i use another insurance company without trackday cover its alot cheaper..

You are saying i will be allowed to go down the strip but not allowed on track days..

No,he's saying insurance companies don't cover while you're racing.
The answer to your question is no,the track don't ask to see your insurance for racing purposes.
