That'll be the tractors and such wizzing up and down, have never been to a proper drag-meet..have been to Avon Park doing run what ya brung on motorbike (600cc Suzuki) years ago though.

Well you need to tick that off the to do list mate the main event (june) the european finals (september) for a first experience .A must for all car/bike nuts

I thought of going today as the forecast did not look too bad but the fairly sparse Fuel entry put me off in the end. Looking at the webcam {which is excellent by the way} it looks like I avoided another long,cold frustrating day !

I've seen Top fuel, jet-cars, Jet-bikes and the Jet Quad doing demo runs at the BullDog Bash at Avon park....you could "feel" them through your chest

Have also seen the Jet Quad doing Demos on the Isle of man during TT fortnight


I love anything with an Engine, A proper Drag-meet (along with Le-Mans) is firmly on my "too do" list.

I was there saturday got there at 9 AM raceing didnt get under way till 11 am then it rained till 12.30 and ran right through till 7.30 .. Still going when i left . My ears are still busssssssing . MAGIC day ..
