2011 saw the first ever UK Outlaw FWD Shootout bringing together all the fastest FWD cars in the UK.
The overall winner was Adam Buckley in his Honda Civic, can he retain his title again this year against the likes of Andy Spec in his vauxhal Tigra, Allan Duthie last years runner up in his Vauxhall Cora, and old time heros like Andy Nichols and Guy Chamberlain all aiming for that #1 spot

The 2012 event will be held on Sunday 19th Aug at Santa Pod.



The Winner will recieve prize money in the region of £2000 with additional prizes available for

Quickest Supercharged ET
Quickest Nitrous Only Powered Car ET
Quickest Reaction Time

Fastest 60' Time
Fastest 1/8 MPH

its very rare to see broken driveshafts theses days.

Dont think Ive seen any in the last 2 years from any of the Jap Drag Series competitors.

I love the big cars as much as anybody but the sport will die without new people coming in and like it or not most of the enthusiastic spectators who are likely to want to have a go turn up in FWD european/japanese cars. We should be doing everything we can to encourage them to get off the bank or out of the grandstands and onto the track. Later on they might want to build something along the lines of RV3 or similar but we have to get them started first. Just for the record I race my daily driver Renault Megane Coupe in Sportsman ET and although I might never break any records every new PB means just as much to me as any other driver in any other class.
