Voltz Energy Shots Springspeed Nationals
Discussion
A fantastic event for me, while it lasted. I guess the weather is now 3 for 3 in national events, nothing we can do about that sadly. It's weather, it is what it is and is probably due to the fact that, as a not very bright species, we've been fuffing the planet up for thousands of years, you reap what you sew and all that.
On a personal note, I'd like to thank Tog and the folks at Eurodragster.com for bringing all the equipment to do the live webcast, Webster Race Engineering and Nimbus Motorsport for sponsoring it and Douyousee.me for making it happen. It was our first live webcast and a big thing for us at SCR. I and my co-presenter Paul Wright from Shakey Sound are very grateful to all for the chance to feature in the live broadcast coverage and we hope it was as well received by all the people who tuned in to watch, as the few texts and emails to the tower and Eurodragster.com would suggest and can't wait to do it again. Thanks again to all.

Very sad to see today´s "race report" on eurodragster.com after the promising quali rounds.
Commiserations to all involved.
On the other side : Remember last year when all of March, April and May were much too warm and dry,
and a soaking summer ensued cancelling a lot of racing events.
So let´s hope for a "barbeque summer" where the smell of steaks mixes with rubber and race fuel fumes.

Despite the same farcical organisation that I remember from the last time I was at Shakey, and despite the best efforts of the weather, I somehow still managed to have an excellent meeting.
