Jimmy Ålund in the US

Jimmy will be going for another win in the first round of the 2012 FIA Pro Stock European Championship at the Main Event in just two weeks and that with only the second 2012 Camaro Pro Stock car that has made an appearance at an NHRA Full Throttle Series race.

The J&J Performance Racing Team is currently in the US for the purpose of taking delivery of the car, finish the build, track-testing, and also to compete in this weekends NHRA race: the Dollar General Summermationals at Heartland Park Raceway in Topeka Kansas.

A very exciting time for Jimmy and the team and what a coup to have 2012 Camaro ahead of some of the top NHRA drivers, he must have a great relationship with Jerry Haas. I saw the video of him testing and it looked strong and smooth off the line. Such a shame there won't be more European Pro Stock drivers around at the Main Event for him to beat. What a great looking car, can't wait to see it up close. Thanks for posting PiPPi.
