I had a visit to the museum a few weeks ago, amazing place in you get the chance to go, was absolutely jam packed with race cars and memorbilia

We also watched an evening rwyb session at Orlando speedway, 6-10pm, nice to be wearing your shorts and tshirts instead of freezing your nuts off at santapod

When I was there they had a crackle fest on the Friday {I think} of the Gainesville meeting. It's a fair distance from the actual strip {50 miles ?} but it is well worth visiting if you are a drag fan. Lots of front engined fuelers which I love though they do look small compared to the monsters that run today !

I too was there a few weeks ago. I've been before, but we had time to kill until the drag strip dried out, and my other half hadn't seen the museum. Plenty of interesting stuff to see there (and in the neighbouring classic car museum, too).
