Yes thats right, Brittany is gong to spend this year in a top fueller - but not a funny car. God knows why she chose to buck the trend and massive experience of JFR in running F/C, but it is nice to finally see the team in both TF categories after 35 or so years!

No one saw that coming after extensive testing in a fueller last year.........

I'm a huge JFR fan but massive hype and media circus for something people already knew? The Castrol Edge bit is new I guess.

On a side note, strongly rumored Zippy is out of a funny car this year? Shame, very talented guy.

More talented when it comes to tuning than driving in my opinion, and I hear he is going to be tuning John

Wasnt Neff just driving last year to take Ashley's place whilst she was busy with having a sprog? If Ashley is back driving then I can well see him back to doing what he does best - crew chiefing.

So does anyone know why Brittany appears to dislike funnycars? Or was it a case of JFR being politely told that running 5 cars in one class would be pushing things a bit too far?

I thought chassis build were farmed out to specialists who each catered for a few teams, not being built in house? The last I heard, JFR's cars were built by Murf McKinney - although that was around the time that John's car split in half so I dont blame them if they decided to switch supply hehe

I think I read somewhere that Ashley is pregnant again... I may be wrong so don't shout at me if I am!

Similarly I thought NHRA made a ruling that four cars was the maximum any team could have in any one professional class...

I see sh'es been testing today with a full canopy... since when did TF cars run enclosed? I've obviously been out of the loop for too long since ESPN went pay-to-view on freeview frown

Technology open to everyone, with DSR cars having them I couldn't ever see JFR not wanting one, my opinion every car should be equipped with a canopy anyway, should have been since Big Daddy did it in '86
