I've watched it on TV and fancied a break "up North" sometime this year to see some for real.

Yep. I realised my mistake after I'd switched my PC off last night.

We were thinking school holiday time or maybe September.

There's a meeting on August bank holiday weekend at gt eccleston near Blackpool,you will get to see all the various class's including the big multi engine tractors,they hold a round of the euro cup aswell so you get to see all the best in Europe competing,well worth a visit
