Al O Connor and the grounds for divorce firenza ?

I remember him running in super pro maybe as many as 10 years ago ? Always thought it was a great looking car.

It was Al Golding.

Last I knew he was replacing the gearbox and a friend of a friend repainted it.

He is still at the track now and again sans car.

apologies Golding is correct of course.

I remember it having a repaint with purple on the top half.

Good to know he's still about, be even better if the car was out again!

Al was the wheelie king in his Mod ET days. He liked doing that even though it sometimes cost him the win light.

Yeah, the wheelstands are why I remember the car!

Looking at a few pics the purple silver was its original paint I think and then it got repainted in blue

There used to be a great pic (maybe one of sharkmans?) coming off the line in the usual massive wheelstand with the sun setting behind the car. Can't find it now.
