Been there a couple of times, the shutdown area does look very drastic in that you can't even see a chute open from spectating anywhere along the track, it still doesn't stop full 1/4 mile charges from Top Fuelers though (guest racer Larry Dixon running a 332 mph 4.50 there recently).
I've tried to get my hands on one of those track crew shirts but they weren't having it.
