Remote water pump recommendation please
Discussion
I need to get a remote water pump for the car preferably with a dual outlet. I was looking at the CSR 925c but they are out of stock until the middle of August.
I have found Davies Craig which I can buy in the UK - not a dual outlet so wouldn't look as tidy but I wondered what everyone else was using and if anyone had any recommendations before I get something. It needs to work with a blown methanol BBC.
Thanks.

Super pro, right? They all get hot, but you wont be driving it back after a run. You could save yourself time, money and weight by not running water and associated hoses rads pumps etc.
Clearly I am not an expert, but wouldn't running a full cooling system and being able to know what temperature the motor was running every run regardless of ambient conditions or time running rsmove another variable? As it is dial your own the weight gain would be immaterial anyway. I pose the question to those who know more about this than I.Jon C said:

We run a water system on our methanol car and you are right Jon, helps with fast turnarounds in eliminations and maintaining a consistent temperature in the fire up road. Also means the car can be driven back to the pits after a run.
Nicely answered, thanks - we don't tow either
A bracket car without temperature control is at a major disadvantage, both in turn-round time and in ET calculations. That said, Barry Gilles does just fine and I don't think he has temperature control other than running very rich and chucking methanol at the cylinder heads.... from the inside!
