Where are the best places for 1/4 drag racing on Runways (not the pod)

Which events do you go too ?

I guess the best places are in the USA... winkbiggrin

lol.

I wouldn't mind knowing a few places. Some mates and I in the past have tried hiring old runways. But something always seem to prevent this frown

Elvington, York is prpbably the best runway surface in the country. Strict noise limits though.

York Raceway has Shell-grip start lines for street tyres and the right lane measures your 0-60 time. As I've said before, get enough Holdens/HSVs to one event and I'll sort out a trophy thumbup
