hi all,
as some forum members have been askin for this.
so i thought i would get the ball rolling.
if you dont know me ,this year i crewed for tommy moller(tf) and frank bennett(nfaa).
i work on cylinder head and also help on the tuning of both cars.
i wont go into a meeting by meeting account of the year.
just that tommy ended 05 on a hi in second place and we was expecting good things.
frank was back after a few years and was also expecting good things.
for both teams this year had been a fight for every run.
from tommy running 4.81 number one q at the main event.
then the fuel pump giving out when firing for the first round .
then chasing silly problems all year.
mainly fuel pressure probs.making it cough the blower when it wanted.
then finally running 5.06 at the fireworks meet.
then franks, this was mainly down to a parts problem.
even thou we tried to work around it by tuning.
we still got him down every track he turned up at.
and still came second in the nfaa.
which we believe frank could have won if not for the last meeting being rained off.
still there you go.
will do better 07.
