Hi,

I was wondering which Nitro class people like the most, to watch and/or to be behind the wheel of?

(personally I like my bikes, and quite like the top fuel bikes and also the rocket bike, which I saw at santa pod easter thunderball.

tweetie, rocket bikes and cars use hydrogen peroxide as a propellent they do not use nitro, but there are exceptions to that! uk rocket pilot caroline campbell uses nitrous oxide as the propellent for her thrust vehicle .best nitro class for me top fuel .

Top Fuel for me.

As for Altereds you just have to admire the balls of anyone whose brave enough, or daft enough, to strap themselves into one

Always about bloody nitro.rolleyes But if you want me to waffle on about nitro... to be honest yes I enjoy getting the nitro fix, but its not exactly my cup of tea when it comes to choosing a class. Krister Johansson, now theres an interesting plot to the TMD debate

Lets not discriminate however! She referred to the rocket bike. I will refer to the pro mods. I thank you.

If Krister has his problems sorted out from last year, then all the blown cars will have there hands full, dont forget he already holds the speed record for the class.

And if its got 8 cylinders alive then they will be knocking on everyones door.

Now im not really in tune to what's going on in the states, so how do the TMD's compare with the nitro burners over there? I remember watching them when i have visited in past years and they were outstripping them marginally.

AFD are back in the teens this season while the BAD cars are low 30s to high 20s in the right conditions for both, though you cant read to much into that over in Europe as we have only one AFD and dont drive on top of mountains or in searing desert heat.

What you are forgetting to factor into the equation is that Krister is a God!

tweetie theres nothing wrong with what you asked at all! but i suppose it must be confusing for those who dont know, when top methanol is mentioned by someone as there favorite nitro class ? methanol and nitro cars both run in this class thats confusing if you dont know the formula . the easy way to explain top methanol dragster is you either run supercharged running on alcohol (methanol for europeans) or nitro not supercharged but injected only easy as that . injected nitro what a sound !

Some of you might know that my partner Jon (nitro-besty) is building a nitro slingshot, i've never seen one of these run, are there many nitro-slingshots around?

Ps, if you like classes that arn't nitro classes i'd like to hear about them also
