In August I will be participating in my first rwyb day at York raceway.
Please could someone run through what is the process is before you get on the strip.

I suppose you get your car checked over first but then what ?

Cheers

Yep, first you'll have to go through scrutineering, which is at the top of the main pits and begins at 9am. If you're just racing in RWYB you then need to sign on at the bottom of the control tower, you'll need your driving licence to do this.

Track opens at 10am, you'll need an helmet to run and you'll have to wear long sleeves as arms need to be covered. RWYB classes usually queue in midway, but just ask on the day if you have any questions.

Joe_icecool posted a quick guide for new racers on the York forum, check the 2nd post on here: http://york-raceway.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=906

Hope that helps.
