Details on Ray White's car?
Discussion
A friend has posted a picture of Ray White's car on Turbobricks from the Uxbridge show, and I was hoping to enlighten the mainly young and Yank population of the forum that we do have some quick cars (the Brit contingent is kinda sick of them posting 12 and 13 second time slips from cars with little more than upped boost and an exhaust- I've even asked them to check if their tracks are as long as ours!) in the Uk and the image of Ray's car gave me the opportunity.
Unfortunately I can't find a website for the car. In fact, i can't even find a UK Pro Mod website. I know my computer skills are not exactly up there with the young 'uns, but that can't be right, can it?

You'll be wanting http://www.msadragracing.co.uk/d_detail.php?ID=5 for the British Championship (MSA). The European site at http://www.promod.nu/ does not appear to have Ray on it yet.

Thanks- I've updated the thread over there.
So, why do the yanks go faster than us?
One major thing.. TRACK TIME! Look how weather affected our season has been this year, then look at how long their racing season is.So, why do the yanks go faster than us?
Also take into account the money that's put into the sport, as far as I'm aware, there's only one racers doing it full time in Europe, in the states it's a different kettle of fish all together..
It wasn't anything specific- I just wanted to show the car to the others on the forum.
Getting back to the racing thing- we've got guys in the 12's in Volvo 740's with just boost and chips on street tyres. They always seem to be quicker for less in the way of mods. I understand totally from the pro racers situation re track time and budget.
But what amazes me more is how much faster guys go with levels of mods I know and on cars I know. Seems the times are very fast for the hp.
I was wondering if maybe the weather patterns or the like could help? I'm guessing most US tracks get ten times the track use that Santa Pod does, so that must help. Most of the guys I talk to have the opportunity to go to the track most weekends and evenings.
