Mantorp at the end of this month

With 344 teams predicted to turn up at Mantorp at the end of this month is it the best meeting to go to? Do we not get that many teams at the Pod main events?

Might nip over, anyone know the best way/how to get there in a car and how long it takes how much it costs etc?

The Main Event had 300 entries, and the European Finals last year had 307, so yeah, Mantorp's a little big bigger, but not by much. Bear in mind that the Main Event had to drop 9.50 bike this year due to lack of pit space. It's a good meeting to go to, although it can be pricey (you need to pay for parking, as well as for seats -- you can't see the track without buying a grandstand seat). Ryanair flies to Skavsta (NYO), which is about 80 miles from the track. There are plenty of car hire places at the airport, although you might want to book in advance to be sure they have cars left. From memory, my flights this year were 5 pounds + charges (about 60 quid, IIRC), car hire was around 40 pounds/day and the hotel room was around 50 pounds/night for 3 of us. It's the first time I've been back for a few years, so I'm looking forward to it.
