Looks good to me. Much better than your previous web sites. Only two comments:

1. Look into using something different for your photo galleries. The pseudo window opening thing it does now is dog slow on Firefox. I've seen this with other sites that use the same effect as well.

2. Calendar has two As and one E :-)

Cool dragster project, good site, on my IE the photos took only 5sec to load, each.
I hope the progress continues, and you have some heating in the garage,
busting a cold knuckle can hurt badly......
