Woah !
Far to short a reply...
You cant just teun up and post a shedload of pukka pics as your first couple of posts without any intro !
Are you a pro ?
How come youve only just come on here ?
Canon gear ? Like what ?
Who, When, Why, What, etc etc
all meant in a jovial manner, of course.......

I'm no pro, just keen. I didn't know about this place until a few weeks ago, very pleased I found it though.
Hi Julian !
Great pix, I was there, too, but I look so bad
that they locked me into that upper container for the event,
where I did this :
How did you get the press vest, did you work for anybody ?
( I won´t tell if you "sneaked in"....
)
By the way, did you talk to others photographers ?
The one in the background of the Corvette Roadster
is Germany´s best dragster lensman.
Regards,
Benni

Ahh.. the voice from the box, and may I say what an excellent job you did, and what an awesome meeting!Great pix, I was there, too, but I look so bad

I didn't sneek in, I don't think there would be any chance of doing that!
I covered the event for Ultra VW magazine, unfortunately there were not as many VW's there as I had hoped but those that were there were awesome so it made for a very nice couple of pages.
I was hoping to see some pictures from this event pop up in Custom Car, not mine, I did offer but I know they use other photographers and I expected to see something by now, it would be a real shame if there was nothing.

Hi Julian !
Would it be OK for you if I post a link to your page on the german dragracing forum ?
I guess there might be one or the other request for prints,
or allowance to use your pics on driver´s websites (with credits, of course).
Regards,
Benni
I would be very happy if you tell the German dragracing forum about my pictures and web site, infact, you can tell the whole world if you want!Would it be OK for you if I post a link to your page on the german dragracing forum ?

It's fine if any of the teams want to use my pictures on their web sites, or on any of their litriture, I'm fine with that. If they want to get in touch with me they can through this post, I can even email them the 'Hi-Res' version of a particular picture if they want!
Hi Julian !
Job done, adress posted, hope you get some good response, you surely earn it.
Would you tell us (me) which Canon stuff you used ?
I had the pleasure to shoot with a D10 at the Main Event,
borrowed from a pro, case was down to the bare metal in some spots, but :
the GREY 70-200 mm lens with ultrasonic (?) focus and other geek stuff
did a great job (i didn´t, had to get used to it...).
Cheers,
Benni

It's great when you see a well used camera body and it's worn through to the bare metal. It sounds like you were using the same lens as I was as I also have the 70-200mm (2.8) along with 17-40, 10-22 and 50. All on a 30D body.
Hey, I was looking through a couple of other 'Picture sites' and came accross this one, looks like one smooth dude, is this the 'motormouth'?
