LOL well ive been circuit racing in the snow before but never drag racing....maybe they should have taken a pointer off the scandinavians and had snowmobile drag racing!

Well, some german (public)racers think it is way too much time
between October and April, so for the 5th year there has been
the "Xmas Race" on the airfield of Kindel, Eisenach,
home of the "German Race Wars", 26th of December.
Although they could not cope with the Ohio snowstorm,
but at temps around zero C the race was still funny for contestants and spectators :

Couldn't do it here.
Health & Safety would close it all down before it started.
Shame though, I wonder if you can get snow chains for 31 x 18.5's?

not sure about snow chains....poor guy in the pool....wen i was in colorado last year we had an outdoor pool...was sooo nice wen u were in it but man when you got out...well my nipples were like pinochios nose!....then my bloody brother pushed me into the snow...never been so cold in my life!

didn't they used to run a boxing day RWYB at the Pod? quite a few years back now

yeh i thought that...i now they race on circuits on boxing day, i was marhshalling at mallory for teh plum pudding meeting this year, both cars and bikes race, tis a good day out, far better than going to see some aunt!

Well, they say that what the Americans do, we are bound to follow...
