It will be a cold day in hell before I change my mind on the subject of a Eurodragster.com discussion forum and given that I am atheist and thus don't believe in hell...
Kestral, you should know by now that there is no-one on this forum who could afford to hire SPR for the day
Don't forget that there are plenty of Peak Performance Days which are a lot cheaper and relatively private, and so long as you let the track know in advance about anything exotic then you can take along just about anything you like.yes it was a little exotic for the formula tanker guys to rent the track for a day just to run a super pro et car. however dont get the wrong idea about th guys, just because thy have a big motorhome and 2 cars it does not mean theyre snobbish or like flashing their cash around. the formula tanker guys are a cracking bunch of people, really nice and enthusastic about the sport, infact most have been spectators for years and simon used to compete on a 10.90 bike. however it does help to have a very willing sponsor that wants to bring lots of corporate partners to the pod, the 'boss' is a great guy and a very astute businessman, at the end of the day he just wants to go racing in style and be able to cater for his partners and team. next time you see them pop round and say hello youll soon realise what a bunch of enthusiastic guys they are and how willing they are to learn about drag racing.

No it wasn't. What is exotic is taking along a rocket, as mentioned above.BTW be fair: it was a Super Pro ET dragster, a Pro ET dragster, and a Comp Bike
The guys got in three runs on the Super Pro car and four or five on the bike. The Pro ET car was in the pairing lanes when it started to rain and that was the end of that.i meant it was exotic for a super pro team to hire the track for the day...never known another sportsman racer do that before...although ill probably proven wrong!...and LOL...yes tog 2 cars and a bike with simons wife on the bike...and i mentioned the point about them being a bunch of nice guys etc because afer overhearing a few people (who will remain anonymous) at the weekend there seemed to be the pre conception that theyre just showing off and flashing their wallets etc
