as with most things, if it wasnt for the originators we wouldnt have a sport to follow

sad thing is we are fast approaching the time from the early days when the early guys will start falling off their perches, so long as its peacefully (or shot by a jealous husband) and not in an accident I suppose we should be thankful and actually, despite having the look of a bedstead in a few cases, crashes were rare.
