Yep, I'll be there. The car's still not running as well as I'd like, but I missed the last meeting, and am slipping back in the points. Can't afford to miss another one :-) Even if it does like being affected by the weather...

That side of things is alright, not 100% but he's getting there. At least he can drive the Corrado.

However he was run over at Shakespeare County Rceway the weekend before the Big Bang and he is in a lot of pain. So it's even more drugs for that. *sigh* His driving shoulder as well. Thank God the Corrado drives straight!

One thing after another with that boy.

Basically the pot has run dry. After funding the car ourselves since 1994 there's simply no money left to carry on. We always said we'd never get in to debt doing it and now we've got to that point where we will if we continue.

If we can get a sponsor then we can continue but to be honest we're exhausted from trying. It's so disheartening to be national champions, with one of the most professional appearing setups in the class (if not the sportsman classes et al) and still not be able to get any support at all...even after qualifying number one at the first two events as well. It would be possible to carry on if we scrimped on preperation but that's just not how we do things.

If someone makes us an offer for the car then yeah she's for sale.

Thats a real shame Lee; any other branch of motorsport and you'd have sponsors fighting over the national champion. I don't know what it is with drag racing that seems to make it untouchable to the big money in the rest of motorsport. I hope something comes along mate.
