So do I got tomorrow and monday or not ?? Seriously questioning it, I was hardcore enough to risk it at Easter and enjoed a saturday and sunday of snow !! Forecast doesnt look good at all but I desperatly need nitro in my lungs

next year, SPR should aim at having the NON-bank holiday weekends, id guess statistically BH are the worst weather-wise, or is that just an illusion?

Garh! I went to last years main event (07) to be turned away as it was rained off. 3 hours later I was home.

Today (Sunday) I went back with my rain off tickets in hand to this years main event. Rained off yet again.

I give up!

I know how you feel Ginger, I went to the saturday and sunday of the easter thunderball and enjoyed a 'snow out', frustratingly for me they ran on the friday and monday either side . Oh well, the weather cant be helped and safety is much more important than anything else. Got 'r**n off' value though and intended to use them for this sunday and monday, but in the usual UK way, the lead up to the event it has been nice but when it comes to race time, r**n !! Woke up this morning at 5:30 to check the situation and decided against going, im sat here now with pretty much every possible part of my body crossed that it doesnt r**n tomorrow and I can get some nitro in my lungs

p.s: r**n = water coming from the sky as youve all pretty much guessed, dont like to use the word when it comes to talking about drag racing !!

I have just heard on TV that the Russians used to release silver iodide into the atmospher to disperse clouds on rememberance days so there was good weather.

we've come back already.It is like groundhog day to last years meeting.
It's a real shame too..
We couldn't do any more without getting wheelie bars.The car will not stay down under any circumstance... Should be pretty quick when we get them..
Good to meet some of the PH guys there,even race against them..

Oh cr*p! Dry from midday on here in east Essex yesterday. Hissing down allnight,so i stayed in bed. Ist round in Pro live on Nitro fm over tinternet. Doh! At least i carn't cut the grass. But her in draws is showing her Essex roots (When you going to take me to Lakeside?)
