Thanks for the times, Flying toilet.

I guess if we do not bump into anyone during most of Friday we will at 11am and 4 PM, when the rails are being fired up.

dont they know theres a shortage of nitro?....lol

whose on display then?

drag racing doesnt feature greatly on the website, two shots of a gold coloured car (camaro?) pulling a wheelie (if you quick you can just see it)

still. drag racing is an outlaw sport for the rather unpleasent hot rod types isnt it gile.....

Yes, you DO have to be quick to see it, Steve!

Actually, it's not a Camaro, it's a Plymouth Barracuda owned and driven by Bob Riggle. He has 3 of them, a '66 a '67 and a '68. All are powered by mid-mounted Chrysler 426 hemis with bags more power than he needs to do the job. He controls the wheelying beast by looking through a Plexiglass window in the floor - thus the name of the car: "Hemi Under Glass". Bob's been doing this for nearly 40 years, now and I had the pleasure of meeting him in 1999 outside the Wally Parks Museum at Pomona, with "TV" Tommy Ivo, Don Vesco and Don Garlits. Fantastic.

i apologise without reserve, if they had given the car as much video time as the mini on its roof/side i could have avoided the wrath of the assembled on here...lol

cant see anything resembling a slingshot TF or altered though....must be behind the pimms stand somewhere

HAVING said that, if the assorted dragsters were to change their titles to SPRINTING cars, maybe the image would change, after all thats a true british sport dont ya know....
