First of all, Leon Green's new Webster Race Engineering Supra:

Phwoar!

And secondly, did you see the news on Eurodragster about Steve Whittaker running a 7.7? I would say it's been a long time coming, but that's not really true. I can't believe that Jap-powered cars are getting these numbers when the first 8 happened less than 2 years ago.

The jap drag racing scene is coming on at an impressive pace, the spectator support they get makes the average sportsman meet here look like a ghost town plus they have a huge manufacturers and dealers back up too. A couple of them have already crossed over with good results, there will be more I'm sure.

A 7 sec turboed full tube Supra could do well in Street Eliminator on drag radials wink

Indeed, that could be good. The true street cars on treaded tyres are running "only" 9's though. Having said that, I think Leon's car has full electrics....

Huge well done to Steve & his team & really well deserved as he has been so so close many times before.
Puts the 2 of us dead level in the HKS series after 3 rounds with the last 1 due in October.
We need to burn midnight oil & make a few changes to find extra horses between now & then :-)
