I was considering entering both the Hot rod challenge (heads up) and Pro et (bracket) at York in September.
My car runs 13.3 and 12.2 with a little gas, a little more would be in the 11's.
I emailed York raceway for more details and have been recommended to run in Sportsman et without gas as the car should be more consistent for bracket racing.
Then i can run the gas purely for heads up.
Any thoughts?

Deffo. Nitrous isnt as consistant as your N/A engine. I only use gas when running hot rod or super cup. I dont bother using it when running sportsman/pro et. Doesnt matter how fast you are in the latter two classes just as long as your reaction is good and your engine is constant.

An eventful day was had at York last Sunday. A few mishaps and experiments had me busy most of the day fiddling with the nitrous system.
No records were broken but i did come 2nd in T class to a Holden and learned a lot along the way.
I did intend to join the PDRC and sign up for Hot rod and the Northern but after losing my gas, packed up and went home after the track shut.
Not sure who the guy was but he suggested i could enter Pro ET and to speak to him later in the portacabin..... like i said i didnt get that far.
I will be there for the next meet and will sign up on the day.
