Parade of Power = Wellingboro...

So who's going and who's running this year???

For those who don't know what I'm talking about.... Santa Pod, in partnership with Wellingborough Borough Council, take over Wellingborough Town Centre for the evening on Friday 29th August

Loads of entertainment in the pedestrianised zone... plus the one way system becomes an extension of the track for an evening!!!!
Previous years have seen a wide variety of race cars and bikes doing circuits of the one way system then heading back to the market square afterwards to show off to the public!!!

Town centre closes to traffic at 6.30pm this year... Parade starts at 7pm... Entertainment til 9.30...

Should be a great night.... so who's up for it...???

Hi Scoob!

I can't make it this year as someone decided to have a wedding...

I went last year as Spencer took the Corrado and it was superb - I reccomend it to anyone who has not been before. Something you have to do either with your drag car or as a spectator for sure.

Have a great time to all those who go. I really wish I could but alas I have to look feminine for one weekend only. Euro Finals I get to be a scrufty again.

That was rather jolly. Had the dustbin lids to contend with, so I will have to look forward to the pictures of others. Jon Webster probably stole the show for me, though the kids loved the Monster Truck right up to the point it blipped the throttle .

A healthy crowd, a great show, and loads of good PR.
