Does anyone know where in the south of england i can legally do a standing 1/4 mile timed run like they do at santa pod?

It might help a little if you gave a clue where you are. As far as proper strips theres Santa Pod and Shakespeare County. Sprints take place across the country with some at North Weald, Weston Zoyland and Keevil (this weekend). There was also one in East Devon that NIMBY's apppear to have put the dampers on.

Im up in the north east so santa pod is down south. You didnt put where you are from ! How about devon ?? Or are you in the south of scotland rolleyes

i think that the corvette owners club ran at shoreham airport a month or two ago (can,t get much more south than that without getting very wet)
