OK the time is nearly on us and a little bit of friendly banter on MSN has turned out to be a rather large deal. Mick as we know bogged down like a good one at TOTB and was beaten fair and square. It seems even the competitive spirit between friends can get out of hand
It boils down to Mick and Me agreeing we will beat the other in a best of 3 head to head 1/4 mile shoot out, should be good fun so who is heading to Shaky for this to unfold?

Both proven 8 second cars, both very determined drivers and it boils down to R32 v R33. It should be some of the closest racing of full bodied Skylines this year. On a fully prepped strip - who knows maybe a new record could be had for one of us ?

Meh. Rear wheel drive skylines are faster:

Actually, this is faster too:

I think I'll go to JapShow instead, and watch some real racing.

"Real racing" - I assume by your opening statement, you're the high priest of all that's holy in RB26 racing circles? As the rest of the world (us mere mortals), find the likes of Keith's car every bit as real as a slick shod racecar.

Welcome BTW.

Thanks for the welcome. What I mean by "real racing" is championships, qualifiers, eliminations etc rather than just a grudge match between two cars that are built to a very fuzzy set of criteria.

It used to be so nice & quiet & serene around these parts - i log on to relax biggrin

Good luck keith ! wink - hope the new turbo set up works well & be good to see Mick get some results from the Duke as I know he is desperate to bring those times down.

Personally, I don't care how many wheel drive it is, if it's fast and people want to race them, why the hell not? Vive la difference and all that.
