Just got back from my hols in malta ,while loafing by the pool 1 day.I remembered that there was a top methanol team that used to compete at the pod some years ago.Anyone know what happened/if there still racing ? the name Borg springs to mind for some reason, and ice creams (might of been a sponsor)!!!!!

There are the Borg Brothers who still run in Malta (I think with a blown small block still)
also, Manty Bugeja and John Elull used to run top methanol dragsters on the FIA circuit, Manty had Peter Beck's old car not sure what either of them are up to these days though.

Good that the grammar police don´t go rounds here.......biggrin
btt : I was wondering what these guys & cars did in 2008 :
Steve Neimantas with the blown "Aston"
George Chiarella with the blown car (dont´t know what it was/is)
the foldable S/C dragster from the "Bristol Doorslammers"
Mark Pointer with the blown "Hooligan" Fordson Van, is he still in Malta ?
Cheers,
Benni

P.S. & O.T:
Here´s what happens if you boost an Opel Speedster (Vauxhall VX 220?) up to 650 hp,
and get decent grip......yikes.....came down hard,
smacked windscreen and front suspension, driver unhurt, did 9,5/150mph before.
