A most impressive performance by John & his Skyline. Here he is yesterday, just past the tree:-

Amazing. That car (and other quick Jap tin) will bring much needed publicity to the sport.

I don't want to start the debate over traditional versus modern, but if it brings new blood (and money) to the sport who cares?

You didn't do too badly yourself, Andy. Good to see you with a grin on your face after a decent run at last.

Thanks everyone & great to see you Andy & Slinky again - that bloody car of yours gets more outrageous by the week ! biggrin

What an event packed into 2 days, my face has probably got marks in after spending so much time being stuck to it watching the racing smile

Shame we got knocked out after round 1 by 300'ths but we are just not ready to be ultra accurate with ET forecasts as the car is being developed & getting quicker all the time - bloody enjoyed being knocked out by that car though - what a noise the thing makes biggrin - certainly for at least the next 12 - 18 months comp elim fits us a lot better. Great to see such a friendly pit with everyone happy to chat & offer advice.

amazing weekend & great weather - there is a god after all (i just hope he is around next weekend for the same weather for Japshow finale !)

was awesome to watch, and I love that deep thumping rumble as it sits on the rev limiter before launching

It was all rained off today. Only managed one run before the rain yesterday but really struggled with traction and the headwind took the bonnet off just under the gantry!

It was the numberplate last time.. Who was responsible for bolting that front end together? wink

Huge congratulations John on the 2008 HKS Series win - fantastic result, albeit I know you would rather have run quicker again today again....
