Next year's FIA/FIM calendar is not finalised although I think you can assume that the following are pretty much set in stone:

FIA Main Event, Santa Pod, 22nd-25th May
FHRA Nitro Nationals, Alastaro, 2nd-5th July
Veidec Festival, Mantorp Park, 23rd-26th July
FIA European Finals, Santa Pod, 10th-13th September

It's wait and see for other events...there is a short period at the end of every year when everything goes quiet and stuff goes on in the background and we just have to sit on our hands and be patient.

If you want to run at Hockenheim John then make sure that there is a class for you. I guess you're looking at Comp Eliminator, because the Public Race has an index of 12.00, or running in demonstration. Hopefully Andrea is tuned in and can advise about that.

Thanks Tog,

Have sent them an e-mail asking about likely classes to be run ie/ S pro or Comp eliminator.
Fingers crossed as would love to run there if it is possible.

Hi John !

I would like to see -and announce- your Skyline
on the "Rico Anthes Quartermile" (aka Hockenheim),
but I would not expect them to answer your mail fast,
because Rico "has left the building".
The orga team are sorting out who is responsible for what,
and which classes are running.
I would not expect too many changes, so chances of P/ET are low,
Comp Eli is much more likely.
Regards,
Benni

Hi Benni,
Many thanks for taking the time to read & reply - it's really much appreciated.
Comp Eliminator suits me down to the ground & fingers crossed the class will be run in 09. I wish you well with the organising for the event & would be great to hear from you when you know more.

many thanks
John
