We have lots of these, but rarely go back and see how the predictions turned out. So here we go then. I've arbitrarily given each entrant a point for each round of eliminations in which they appear, plus an additional 2 points for the winner of each class (the thinking being that a win in the final counts as an extra round, plus an extra bonus point for winning the event). Thus Andy Carter scored 5, Stig scored 3, Risto and Anita scored 2 each etc.

Total points:
26 quarterpounder
25 Tet
24 John W
18 BennettRacing
15 Jon C
13 peterwalters[1]

Of course, not everyone guessed in every class, so:
Average points per pick
3.60 BennettRacing
3.25 quarterpounder
3.12 Tet
3.00 John W
2.60 peterwalters
2.14 Jon C

And for completeness:
Win:loss ratio:
1.50:1 BennettRacing
0.60:1 quarterpounder
0.60:1 Tet
0.60:1 John W
0.25:1 peterwalters
0.16:1 Jon C

So well done to Luke and to quarterpounder. Let's see how we all do at Mantorp...

[1] Of your two picks for TMD, I went for Derek, the higher scoring of the two.

Very good! And makes sense, we always seem to pick but never see what happened.

Although I didn't pick all classes so maybe next event we have a set set of classes to pick winners for? Makes it fairer then.

Almost as if we need a Fantasy FIA series... I'm rapidly losing interest in the NHRA one, firstly because I don't really follow NHRA and secondly because there is no budget to manage (see the more successful fantasy football games) whereby good players cost more and yuo have limited resource.

Yep. I kept meaning to set one up, but have never really found the time. Maybe I'll get it done for the start of next season.
