I was thumbing through some old photos and was transported back to the mid 80's when I drove this car, owned by my brother in law.
It originally had a Daimler SP450 which looked pretty, but was a little light on power and didn't really like the nitrous oxide that we shot into it - eventually killing it in the process.
We replaced the Daimler with a Dave Grady supplied Ford 460, which made it very stout indeed - although a little more of a handful to peddle down the track.
Anyone know what happened to it? My bro-in-law sold it to someone in the south east and promptly bought the ex Des Taylor Pinto, which he repainted and ran on the street.
This is at Santa Pod RWYB in 1985

...and this is the same car minus roll hoop and plus 7.5 litre Ford at 'Screamin' Alley' in Kent.

Anybody cast light on what happened to it?

Thanks Matt. I lost touch with this after Tony Puttock sold it.
Good luck finding it. Nick Pettet at Timetravel is a good source.
