First 8 for ukstreetracer
Discussion
Stuart Ramsey aka Ringman of the ukstreetracers ran his first ever 8 today at the Mopar nats at Santa pod. He has been trying for a while now, he did come so close three meets ago with a 9.0004 but melted a piston. A rebuild and a test drive to the track (yes its driven from London and back) and some fuel pressure problems on the nirtos side, that ment a new fuel pump and a filter form Monkey boys car and a 9.012 later, then on the last run it all came toghter with an 8.93@155, that is the first in the ukstreetracers.
Well done sir we of the ukstreetracers are proud of you.

About time too. I haven't seen him for a while now, but the last time I spoke to him, he was getting increasingly frustrated that the car wasn't performing at the level he knew it was capable of. Hopefully this means that he's on top of the problems, and we'll see some more passes like that one. Congratulations.

Dave, was just on your profile, reading about your car. It's all very interesting, especially your choice of shifter! I think you'd better check your spelling mate Well done sir we of the ukstreetracers are proud of you.
