Peter Svensson 5.93........WOW

I know this is a car site, but the first ever 5 second run on 2 wheels outside america does deserve some respect!
If youve been keeping an eye on his incrementals all year youll know its been coming, but a 5.93 is OUTSTANDING! 1/8 was 3.92.
Home built bike, some of the nicest and hard working guys youll ever meet.
Oh and it was at Gardermoen in Norway and the mph was 224, although that bike never mph;s!
Lets hope he can do it again at spr in sept for a backed up european record!

Peter says that he was of the throttle early on the 5 second run because the shutdown area is a little short. Can be very interestning at the Finals in September.

Afterall, it's a drag racing forum... and, I may be a girl, but I think bikes have pistons too!!!

Massive congratulations to Peter and the team... we knew he'd be the first to do it... but couldn't he have saved it for Euro Finals at Pod... would've given anything to have seen it happen!!!
