Who, us? :-) Sadly, I shall not be able to follow the Eurodragster coverage anyway, as I will be standing in the middle of a muddy (and if the forecast is right, somewhat wet) field in Derbyshire all weekend, watching a bunch of heavy metal bands. I'll read up about what happened on my return.Anyway, on with the more relevant bits... my picks for the weekend are:

Nope, that was not aimed at PH. Aggravating as this forum can be on occasion you guys are always generous about our race reports and about Eurodragster.com generally.
My Editor's aside referred to a Swedish message board. When I had to do manual qualifying reports, and thus limit the Sportsman reports to top fives, at Mantorp it kicked off a bit on that board about how useless our reporting was. One guy went off on an "I find it hard to believe that we are in the 21st century" speech which I thought was quite funny. There was also moaning about the webcam location and its update frequency.
Then as you will have seen on the race report people were phoning Mantorp to moan at them about the top fives in race reports with which they had nothing to do, and about a webcam with which they had nothing to do. According to Mantorp's press guy one chap even called all the way from England to have a moan. Didn't have the courage to approach us I guess
Well, the moaning was going pretty well on that board when in waded Anders Envall
I couldn't read what he said apart from the odd word but there were bits in upper case which were comprehensible even without knowing Swedish. One comment was pretty obviously "Tog is doing this by hand you know!" and I think there was a "Shut the hell up!" in there somewhere too. Anyway he put them straight You know how it is, one appreciates constructive comments - in fact there may be race-by-race updates during Pro eliminations on Sunday at Anders' suggestion - but that reaction to the Mantorp coverage was a bit of a pain because I had actually taken the trouble to explain in advance on the news and in the race report about both reports and webcam.
