Anyone Remember Mr Shifter `T`
Discussion
Ive just bought the remains of the model T Mr Shifter. Can anyone remember it or tell me anything about it. I know it ran a 383 mopar then a 440 and ran super gas then apparently went and did a stint in pro mod. Ill be looking to contact the guy who built it if anyone has a email or number for him. Its in a sorry state at the moment but hope to have it back out in the near future.
Hi, just as Furyous said Mick Cheely from the west midlands ran it for many years in the 80s and 90s together with Steve Bingham, dont think he ran it in pro mod ran a Calibra for that class in its early days, the car ran fast dipping into 7 seconds with loads of nitrous had a box chassis as well .....if my memory is right.

Im sure this car ran in pro mod in the early days prior to the calibra
Pro mod was running befour the calibra was built (for Ray Simpson)and mick was in it from the start,
was Richard Eaton and Quick Draw also an early pro mod,??

Hi there,
I'm a bit late replying to this topic but have just done a search for Mr Shifter on the net - and ended up here. I wonder if anyone could help me with some photographs of the car? In 1986 it was sponsored by ATRS or automatic transmission repair specialists in Hednesford Cannock, and at the time I was working for them in the art studio. I airbrushed their initials onto the bonnet and would love to get some photos. It was done in the chrome effect lettering which was popular at the time! Thanks again.

The evidence of your work can be seen quite well here although I cannot condone printing of the pictures without reference to the copyright holder...
