At the weekend I am buying a new drag car, it is not road legal and will only be used on the track. Do any have you have insurance for a simalar car ?

If so what type of company insure cars like these?

check your broker - if its in your garage it may be covered by your house contents insurance, does it have be on the road to be insured? define "drag car" - a doorslammer or rail?

I think Flint insurance still do a policy..Contact John Price, will try to find number, or just google it

We can insure it wherever it's kept between events, while in transit and at an event. But not while competing.

We insure tools, spares and kit too.

I use competition car insurance for the camaro; guaranteed value, 2500 miles per annum, fully comp - and its cheaper than the insurance for myy daily driver Audi - worth a call
