Hi , I recently bought a mk1 cortina from someone in Brighton and I am trying to trace any info on it, someone called Dave Carpenter is believed to have built it or maybe raced it in the v8 challenge some years ago, can anyone shed any light on this for me? , thanks David.

That car does look familiar and I am sure it did run the Rover Challenge in the Street Rover class. Don't remember that rear wing though!
Like Adam said, www.ukdrn.co.uk forum could help and I would be tempted to ask Trevor Langfield at Wizards of Nos as he raced his Escort in the same series.
