i am just wondering if the FIA races at pod and presumably Hockenheim will hold top fuel over a thousand foot. as usually the fia rules run 1 year behind nhra

personally i hope not, would be nice to see some 4.6 runs and get a 4 out of a fc over the quarter.

NHRA has been running 1000ft for a few years now, so the "1 year later" rule doesn't apply.

Santa pod has a long shutdown area, so no real issues from a safety point.

Also, we don't run faster over the 1/4 compared to 1000ft racing. TF 1000ft speed has been over 320mph. We haven't pass 320mph yet over the 1/4.

I think it is safe to say that TF and AA/FC will be 1/4 mile racing this year.

So begins the annual "will they, won't they" debate.

Jesus.

According to the eurodragster schedule for FIA racing this year looks like we are good for quarter mile action at the Pod
