Here's one for the speculators out there to chew over.

The quickest Brit TMFC pass has stood for five years (Trev Capewell, 6.005, Main Event 2005). At the recent Thunderball Steph Millam ran a 6.14 followed by a 6.09. Rob Turner and the crew are clearly going to be on the numbers pretty quickly with their new car.
The question is, do you think Steph will be able to find another tenth and be the first Brit TMFC to run a 5 in the short time it will take the Turners to blow away Trevor's record?

It's a fair shout Jon, I hope Steph can find another tenth, the Turners could very well bat Trevor's record out of the park, and don't forget... there's still time for 4 or 5 people to buy turnkey TA/FC operations from the states, drag them across the pond and enter TM/FC at the last minute laughbiglaugh

Now I know how Albert Lee must have felt when Eric Clapton described him as the greatest guitarist alive today smile

Rob will clock a 5 at Euro Finals smile

on a side note, am I right in thinking that so far Dan Larsen is the only TAFC to run a 5 this season?

I've got my bet on Rob cracking the first 5 in TMFC for GB. But Steph may well have a chance to steal the first one (don't count out that she devil!) Side-by-side Brit 5s would be amazing! If only that could happen. We all know it's set to be an awesome event ..... Just so long as it doesn't .....r..... I'm not even going to say it! wink
