Showers at the Pod

Anyone know what the showers are like at the pod. Col wants us to stay over night at PVS in a tent

Now i'm a bit anal when it comes to being clean, shaving legs etc. I can live without the electricity thing as i'll let my hair dry naturally but i have to have a shower. If they are really bad i need to know??

Maybe this post is a tad to girly for you butch lot but i choose men as my friends so sometimes i need to ask

they are ok as long as you dont open your eyes and have a peg on your nose although not used the ladies ones so they might be a bit better

If one bottle isnt enough...buy two ! they are cheap anyway.

If its a good warm sunny day, it should work fine. If not...Improvise with the cars cooling system or something to heat some water lol


You can buy stuff like that for vans. Ive seen vans with a hand washing facility at the rear, where it uses the engine cooling system to heat hot water.

Last time I camped at the Pod there were no showers and after a bank holiday weekend, the raw sewage from on the over flowing toilets could reach your tent if you pitched in a bad spot.
That was 1982 though.
